Takes United out of the equation too, I like this superstition now!In that case Man City can't win... so we have already won? Is this how it works?
After watching the replay of the Stoke game last night I fail to see what all the arguments yesterday were about. I didn't think that either Flamini or the Ox were that bad.
Flamini did his role, filled the space in midfield, made a few crunching tackles and to me he always looked to pass forward to the more capable players unless there wasn't an option in which case he went sideways, the same as every other Arsenal player does.
Ox was lively, created a few good chances certainly wasn't his worst game for the season. I don't think he is a CM though, put him back on the flank and play Elneny/Chambers and Ramsey in midfield and if Ozil is missing give Campbell a game at #10 who has good ball retention skills and a better eye for a pass than Ox does.
Giroud was very good despite a lack of service, held the ball up well and tried to bring his teammates in to the game, should have made his presence in the box felt more often though and given the wide players something to aim for.
Walcott probably the most ineffective player on the pitch, barely noticed him despite a couple of moments, Ramsey didn't have his best game either. Defence were fairly solid apart from Bellerin who struggled on a bigger opponent (Arnautovic/Diouf) and often allowed them to easily gain possession from long passes.
Cech was superb, the double save was a game saver and the reflex bloke from Joselu again great, solid in the air and commanded his box.
All in all a pretty good point away from home against a tough opponent, lets move on to breaking the hoodoo against those cvnts from west london with OZil and Sanchez back in contention!
