Wouldn't mind seeing a 4-4-2 considering the lack of attacking option due to injury.

Obviously a very young side which in normal for us in the COC but their is enough experience to help out the younger players. This team probably wont score any goals but the way I see it is we play a defensive team to start the game and bring on quality players like Ozil who can break the game apart in the second half.

He won't change the formation, he wants these guys to be ready to drop into the starting side at any notice - and playing 4-4-2 when they aren't in the first XI doesn't help with that.

Bendtner to play up forward with Gnabry and Ryo on the wings, Vermaelen and Arteta to start because they need the run, Jenkinson and Monreal for obvious swapsy reasons. The rest of the midfield I couldn't say.

Gnabry shouldn't play, has played more than anyone in the first team over the last couple of weeks. Eisfield is an option and is one player who I think plays better around better players.

Agree that guys like Viviano, Arteta, Vermaelen, Nacho, Ryu should start. Has been quite sometime since Eisfeld has appeared in the first team, never been a better time for him to take his opportunity.

I'm half-hoping we get knocked out of this pretty early - if we make it to the semis, we are going to start playing the first teamers and the fixture congestion will kill us. If we could make it there by playing the squad players/kids and then topping up the squad in January then that's a different story. But this trophy doesn't count as breaking the drought for me. The FA cup definitely does count.

Players that should NOT feature this round: Mertesacker, Sagna, Gibbs, Ramsey, Flamini, Wilshere, Giroud, Walcott

Ozil and Kos on the bench -could also do with some gametime.

Vermaelen, Nacho, Jenko and Arteta should play for the run out.
