That capped off a great day all round :D

Ramsey untouchable at the moment, I think that's 8 goals overall already this season? That probably beats his tally from the previous season or two combined.

Wenger said realistically theo is 5 weeks away. Rosicky likely the next one to return, not sure about the others but that's now 11 away wins in a row. Very impressive.

Not going to get carried away, but how good is it to be enjoying football again?

Lets see how we are shaping up at the end of november.

It's brilliant. After the Villa loss on opening day, never would've thought we'd string together this run and be where we are currently. We've had a recent trend of terrible season starts, a bit of a resurgence before Christmas, a lull in January/February and then a late charge home to finish the season.

The crucial point of the season is just beginning. Napoli this week is massive, absolutely massive. The 2-3 games a week from this period onwards is going to be a hell of a challenge for our squad that's had numerous injuries. Player management will be key.

Giroud and Ramsey are just about our most important players.

If you told me after the Villa game that:
  • We'd sign Özil
  • We wouldn't drop points in any of our games between then and now
  • Ramsey would score 8 goals in 9 matches (And no body would die)
  • United would be 12th
  • We'd be 2 points clear on top of the league
I would have called you a liar.
It's like a whole new team out there, and considering our injuries it's amazing. Napoli on Wednesday morning is huge.

Busy year, so haven't been posting as much on BF. Haha, avatar has had a good run. Enjoy the Hawks premiership, good times.

One of you should make this your avatar, crazy good.

Fist pumped when I saw the result. Now imagine if we had depth like other clubs did, who knows where we'd even be.

The signing of Ozil has obviously made huge strides in the dressing room.
Apart from striker we have solid depth it's just like usual we have a ridiculous injury list especially in midfield. If we stay relatively healthy for the majority of the year then this year is looking good...

Yeah defo need a striker in January. Otherwise pretty solid (maybe a CB short).

Thought Woj was MOTM this morning.

Yes but until the others return, he'll be starting wide right. I didn't think the sub was that bad, agreed Wenger usually has these pre determined but it was hardly anything near the scale of the Ox/United decision.

That was a very, very important win for us because we got 3 points at Swansea and not many teams, if any, will get 3 points over there this season. We met them at a good time without Williams and Rangel and when Bony gets fully fit and healthy and comes to terms with the rigours of the EPL, Swansea are going to cause havoc.

Fair's fair; when Szczesny is shithouse, I give him both barrels but this morning, apart from one completely incomprehensible moment, he was fantastic. He dealt with the high balls very well and his positioning and concentration was excellent - well done.

Gnarby is f*****g brilliant. He knows when to attack, when to stay, when to defend and does everything like a seasoned professional and Wenger made a mistake in taking him off.

Glenferry 23 congratulations to Hawthorn winning the flag and hopefully, Ross Lyon and his 60's - 70's Italian style football vanishes from the face of the earth.

Better yet, we did it the same weekend Chelsea squared with Spurs, United dropped points at home to anyone, and City dropped to the only team to have beaten us so far this campaign. Now for Liverpool to finish off the weekend of fun.

on Gnabry…
He is surprising. He has the talent but the personality on the pitch as well. He doesn't look timid, he looks to play with belief and of course talent. Unfortunately he is another player for Germany, he's not English.

Nice little quote on Gnabry from le boss especially the end made me lol a little

Yes it was pleasing we took advantage of other results around us. 8 points clear of united currently, who would've thought. Was reading through some reports that said today actually marked Wenger's 17 yr anniversary in charge, nice way to celebrate that feat. But the season must've started later back in 96? Not sure.

Anyway, looking forward to Napoli Wednesday morning. I like watching them play, Insigne, Hamsik and Higuain will be a challenge. Both teams in form as well, they're currently third I believe in Serie A.

I liked Wenger's comment in regards to them getting Higuain, and us Ozil. Something along the lines of being "1-1 in terms of the two great signings from Madrid'.

Wenger has been trolling the media lately ...

On being eight points clear of Man United: "Yes but it's still an early stage and let's not forget we were in a massive crisis after the first game."

After the Flamini signing: "I said it was a no-brainer. I am just sorry he didn't cost £25m."

After declaring we're out of the running for Suarez: "You've certainly tried to go out with a girl and find she has chosen someone else. You don't commit suicide."

When Wilshere and Sagna didn't play out the Tottenham game: "Yes. What has happened to us, happened to Tottenham a few years ago."

For a team that lacks depth and yet the following out injured or not match fit:
Carzola
Padolski
Rosicky
Walcott
Ox
Arteta
Vermaelen
Sanogo

And still sit on top of league... is bloody exciting!

Sign a new striker in Jan and maybe... just maybe
