Dat spelling of Flamini.

I agree with you on the striker part but i don't see Wenger signing a DM especially forking out the money needed to get someone of Bender's level.

We had an offer of ~£20m for Bender knocked back during the summer. That in itself would've been a record signing for Arsenal. With Flamini, Arteta, Ramsey and Wilshere, at least we've got a decent little CM squad.

A striker has to be number one priority, for all the reasons mentioned already.

Anyway, onto tomorrow. Huge game in the morning. Decent kick off time too. Would go with the same XI from the Liverpool game on the weekend.

I reckon Rosicky is set for a blinder, against his old side.

They'll be knackered for the game at OT. Still probably win though :)

End of November was recently mentioned by Wenger for Podolski. That's one hell of a hamstrings injury, he did that in late August.

Must have been a pretty bad tear. Will probably only be just starting to run now and will be seriously underdone until the new year most likely.

Unchanged first XI. Rosicky, Ozil and Cazorla in midfield again (oh my).

Not much on the bench though that would cause Dortmund much to worry about.

C'mon Arsenal.

Very tight tussle in midfield, not much space for either team to work in.

1-0 to Marseille, very handy. Hope they can hold on.

Reckon they will be able to back it up at OT? Must have been physically draining.

Yes that is a worry, it's a packed schedule at the moment but there's nothing like that winning feeling to help kick on for more.

An outside chance of having Flamini and/or Walcott for Sunday's squad at least, which will be a boost.

What was most impressive was the cohesion amongst the back 4. The offside traps were played to perfection and we gave Dortmund precious little to aim at with their 13 or 14 shots.

Our side is playing the best football I've seen since 2007 when we were in a similar position. If we can stay on top of the league until January and make the knockout stages of the UCL, I hope we sign a Llorente type striker on loan/permanently to replace Bendtner and we will be set.

I wonder if there is any chance of Lewan-dive-ski coming to us? Probably nil, but him and Özil linking up together would be amazing!

Rosicky was our best this morning. Constantly harassed and won the ball the back on numerous occasions. The back four were very good though Gibbsy started of slowly but came into the game late in the first half. Arteta was the most worked up I've ever seen him but was very good whilst Cazorla, Giroud, Ramsey and Ozil had quieter games but showed there qualities in various stages through out the game, especially for the goal.

Get the win against United this weekend and we will be in a very good position heading into the international break where hopefully half the squad can get a bit of a break.
