Christ - how bad was that? A goal within a minute was the worst possible start and it was just woeful defending. I do think it was offisde though.

Irrespective, you would hope that we can simply forget the game and move on and give everything against Man Utd. Seriously, if we cannt beat them at home there is somethin wrong. They are terrible at the minute, and if we want to be taken seriously, we should hand them a spanking.

If only Wenger wasnt such a douche in January. Spend the coin man. Kallstrom aint gona help AT ALL.

I think we need to stop waiting until the final 2-3 days of the transfer windows to conduct our business. We've been caught out with Demba Ba and Kallstrom because we've left it too late and when the deal is blocked/problems arise we don't have time to change targets. Imagine if Ozil's move had fallen through on the final day of the window. There would've been no time to move for any other marquee player.

Really we should be doing all our transfer business before the season begins ensuring we have a strong squad that has depth when injury inevitably strikes. January should be a last resort for purchasing players.

It is continually frustrating that Wenger leaves it so late, seeking that bargain basement deal on deadline day but many of them end up being panic buys and a waste of money. Which is something I've always found strange from one who continues to spout the importance of financial prudence. Park Chu Young is a prime example.

Must beat the filth this Thursday. Simply no exuces. They're rubbish and there for the taking.

They were available in August.

Yeah and look where they went to and at what price. We can't compete against the likes of PSG and Monaco and have to settle for second best until we either find a diamond in the rough (Henry) or develop our own. Not even Chelsea could find a top striker with all their resources.

What do PSG or Monaco have to do with this? We were never in for Cavani or Falcao etc.

Higuain would've been a considerable improvement on what we have. With Giroud as coverage, that would've been fantastic. The fact that we have Bendtner as our back up striker now in a title run in is a failure in itself. The desperation to sign Ba at the eleventh hour was unnecessary, it could've been done much earlier.

Should be aiming much higher than Higuain.

Demba Ba was always a last minute loan. Chelsea were never going to loan him out with three weeks until the transfer window closes in case of injury or the team which he'd be going on loan to improved their team. Similar to Benayoune

Tom, Wenger moved for Ba on the last day. Not the final three weeks. Mourinho pulled the pin once the Ozil news broke.

No shit. Im saying that Ba was always a last day transfer, Mourinho was never going to let him go with a week or two left in the transfer window when Torres or Eto could have got injured and when theres plenty of time left for us to further improve our team. By the way Eto moved to Chelsea on the 29th of august, with 4 days left in the transfer window.

Henry was not a diamond in the rough. He just went to the wrong club. If he had of gone to Real as he nearly did he would not of been considered a diamond in the rough.

Still a bargain which is more the point I was trying to make.
