Lucky your coach didn't have the balls to put the team in the section above on the performances they are showing.
Scribe said:Sounds as if you've already identified where your priorities lie Knighter.
To go from a non-appearance, to disciplinary demotion, to BOG upon return, and then to not front up again due to the lure of a Friday night at the clubs (yet claiming here that "I wanted a quiet Friday night").....doesn't take an Einstein to work the rest out.
Get a mirror that works, or stop being so easily led.
FOOTYBOSS said:To scribe have you ever thought their may be reasons why a majority of euroa boys can not complete full sessions during the week. Namely because their bodies cant handle it to well. Gibson doesnt train as his body is just about finished and does whats required to get through games. Grainger missed 4 games at the start of the year with ligament troubles and it still bothers him. shelton has had stress fractures for 10 weeks. Jansz has had 2 knee recos throughout is career. Mcbrien has done his hammy 5 times in 12 months. m.clayton broken scaffoid and howse has groin problems. So they manage them so they can get through games on weekends. Must be doing them well if they are on top.

Mobbenfunkenshizen you'd be pleased to know your Redz gloating may be validated. A friend from Mentonians said he saw your boys a few weeks back and reckons your a dead cert for the D1 flag. Said the Redz with a Z would have won by 10 goals had they kicked straight.
Took advantage of Tight @rse Tuesdays at the movies last night by taking the mrs to see Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants. Sounds like a terrible movie, but for the romantics out there, i recommend it, earnt massive brownie points with the mrs![]()

Can't really give out tips (as I am sure you can understand), but, I get the feeling that The OC are a great shot at beating Madden's boys, Skobbers have been unlucky in recent weeks and maybe that could turn around, 'Hoers have the form to beat the Keilor Hill boys, the 'Fielders should win (but, stranger things have happened), Parkdale are a good side from what I've heard and I reckon Mobbs' boys are playing like a premiership side.
As for promotion and relegation, here's what I think "might" happen:
Out of A: Trinity and Skobbers
Into A: 'Hoers and De La
Out of B: 'Nodders and Nobs
Into B: Blacks and Beauy
Out of C: Bears and Therry
Into C: Reds and Monders
Out of D1: Packer Parkers and Aquinas
Into D1: The boys from Como and Sunbury
Out of D2: Swinnie Students and 'Hoe/Assumpition combine
Into D2: Werribee and Westies
Out of D3: Tally-Hos and Power House
Into D3: Wickers and Hawthorn
It is all good mate and the patnership is working great guns.. The hospitality has been fantastic and standard of training very good. Hopefully you boys keep winning some remaining games to hold your place in A grade.Scribe said:Yes - I have, but I don't think I was having a go at anyone for not completing full sessions. Never said I was making it through either did I? (30 year-olds have that luxury I guess)![]()
My main point was, I'd shudder to think how much more they'd be dominating the GVFL if everyone was fully fit and capable of 4 hours of training during the week!!!
I think they've done very well, given the limited training the above players' bodies can go through. All those listed above are correct, which means for them to play regularly, they're managing themselves properly.
All good....

diamond8 said:What are the chances of St.Bernards being relegated?
I see they have a few easier games vs St.Kevins and OC in the next few weeks so relegation should be avoided. Opinions!
The OC said:Their chances of relegation are slim but they are a very ordinary outfit atm.
Rumours abound that their VFL stars will come back if relegation is likely so expect to see Harvey, Clarke, Byrne, Cheep etc come back in if they are looking shakey. A loss to us this week could put them on shakey ground with Trinity playing SKOB.
If they do get relegated, they may end up in C Section in 2007, the club would implode...
