There seems to be an air of familiarity about Vince. That said, whoever they may be, they have livened up the board which is great.
Touche!!! More strength to him / her.
This obsession with SKOB has got to stop, it’s nauseating and makes me want to have another feud with HHH.
How about we play this game flat footy, why don’t you tell us who you and your club have gained and lost? I’ve already put it out there that my boys have gained a heap, although how many play each week remains to be seen, so please enlighten the board.
If any other posters, except OX ones, can do the same that would be great!
Also, Mr Goodman, we know you read these forums, when are you announcing the great Dave Kinsella as under 19 state coach?

My last post before I leave work. 1. Never posted before this week or so.I think you've pegged FF as a Xavs man before, but he is Collegians through and through.
We all know where Collegians are at the moment. Only lost Tardif to retirement. No other losses of note. Big name pickups so far in Burbury and Hunt, with potentially another name to follow (but not a certainty yet).

2. You don’t rate Fraser Cameron?
3. Bye.

Its a famous BF name , has been mentioned for years. Hope he is a great bloke as well, like his namesake. With Cameron being VFL listed at North Melbourne, he’ll only be a “loss” to Collegians if they have room to pick him after their AFL listers and a few very handy ex-AFL/VFL experienced players. With the likes of Nic Rippon, Michael Close, Ty Leonardis and Nash Holmes also on that list, he’s unlikely to play VFL unless/until injuries strike or his form (with Collegians) warrants it.
Having said that, I rate him - he’s a good ‘un
Schulz gone, Brown gone, Strauss gone, Salopek gone(the good one), Gilham gone, Jamar gone, Grant gone. That’s a lot of gones......

Fraser Cameron will play 95% season with Colls. He is another Sam Hibbins but a half forward flanker with plenty of skills.
How is someone who would around 20 ‘old’?I thought he’d be too old. I remember seeing him down at Old Trinity playing 2’s. Nice fella. Lawyer I think. Good comeback if true.
I think Hippster is yanking your chain. Fraser senior would be 40 and was a doyen of VAFA footy, primarily at OT where he played some very good senior football. He also coached elsewhere and wrote for the VAFA newsletter. I think he is still involved at VFL or U18 level tooHow is someone who would around 20 ‘old’?

Relax. It's just a turn of phrase, slightly tongue in cheek. Ill hail Simon Keleher and Matt Mconvill as doyens next time, but I'll be sure to mention Fraser as the 'greatest of all time' as well. Maybe Jascave can advise who can be considered a doyen on bigfooty.Doyen? Seriously ? I think Russell Barnes, mike mcarter Allen and other multiple premiership coaches / players who are very long serving and successful qualify more than he does !
who can be considered a doyen on bigfooty.
I sense an Ormond themeBedford - end of story.
That’s great! It seems flat footy doesnt share your enthusiasm, I sent him a nice long G’day message and got no response. [deleted] Oh well, as Ben Cousins says, such is life.I think Vinny just might get me back posting again....
Roach? Is an ex Old Carey player and Carey school boy so no mystery if soThat’s great! It seems flat footy doesnt share your enthusiasm, I sent him a nice long G’day message and got no response. [deleted] Oh well, as Ben Cousins says, such is life.
There hasn’t been any smoke signals from Benny Goodman’s office regarding Kinna’s appointment, surely they haven’t been inundated with applications for the job?
A little birdie tells me Benny promised DK the job, like he “officially” advised Parkdale they could play Dillon last year. Talk about getting ahead of yourself in where you truly sit in the chain of power, if Kinna doesn’t get the job Goodman will be hereafter known as Badman, or Dumbman, how can this guy hold such an
important post at HQ? It beggars belief.
Also, did anyone listen to SEN this morning? I’m not sure if anyone does after Hamburger Hutchies recent purge, but Kane Cornes had a certain VAFA player who has been mentioned here recently on his show, was great PR for the VAFA.
I also believe an ex AFL player has landed at Old Carey via Balwyn, even though he’s still contracted to that club. I’m not sure why you would want to play for Old Carey, surely they have to be ranked number one in the VAFA on the list of vanilla clubs?
Have a great weekend everyone, except flat footy
Confirmation of what's been going on down at SBMT: -

When you strip it back there is not a whole lot really. Sumner and Tahana obviously good pick-ups but the others mentioned are already there plus a handful of VFL Dev League players from lower standard comps or VAFA grades. Clubs who were superior to SBMT in 2017 have recruited just as well and in some cases even better.
I note Sumner listed as a playing assistant. That old chestnut!
