Yes, but also with a B grade clubIs a recently retired hawk is serious talk s with university ?
Well he came from an Amateur clubA real Amatuer player![]()
How many games did he play for OAFC?Well he came from an Amateur club
Juniors and 19s and his brother did play in the seniors as wellHow many games did he play for OAFC?
While there is an obvious connection (ground, jumper etc), based on previous comments I thought the juniors was very much a separate entity to the seniors? Good thing about PLAY HQ is that it allows you to fact check. Not doubting your knowledge of all things Ormond Bedford and no question that he played for Ormond juniors but no record of him playing a single game in the VAFA. Would seem he spent his draft year playing TAC cup and APS footy for Wesley.Juniors and 19s and his brother did play in the seniors as well
Having spent the best part of a fortnight (and another week to come) in the front bar, I can say on record that it was signings "galore" with representation from all catholics and even some "tertiary" heavyweights flexing their muscle with some potential recruits.Keep your eyes out at The Sorrento Hotel for last minute signings this week

Either way he will be a handy pick up for whichever club is fortunate enough to land him.

Hi Jon, a large birdie told me an ex AFL club CEO was overheard at the Sorrento Hotel telling his mates that “I just have to click my fingers and I will get Frost a job at AFL house”, providing he commits to Old Xavs.45 needs a win,,,hasn;t got much right on here lately...
Starting 2026 with a new nemesis. I wouldn't want it any other way.45 needs a win,,,hasn;t got much right on here lately...
No current season stats available
Nice wrap Mr PlatinumThings are slow in here these days, very disappointing. There's a slew of recruits across Premier Section, with St Bernards being the most active, although the level of recruit there is debatable, as mentioned previously by a poster.
At the pointy end, I expect it to be another closed shop, with the top four already settled January 2.
OB, the defending premiers, OX, who were much improved in 2024, SKOB, re-building but coming off back to back under 19 Premier Grand finals and OS, with improved availability of VFL listed ring-ins, to play finals.
Uni Blacks will surprise, with a full time ruck from the VFL and an oft injured Cordy hobbling around, along with Uni Blues best Under 19 player jumping ship to Dale Power's men, should push into the top 5 of the ladder. Blues, on the other hand, will be battling to avoid relegation on the back of some HUGE losses, including the great James Stewart.
Then we have the also rans with Old Haileybury without their star goal-kicker who should play VFL every week, and rest when not, along with half a dozen boys who have left to join paying comps and the VFL. Marto however, has brought across the B and F winner from the combine with him.
Caulfield, Trinity and St Bernard's will do well to win a dozen games between themselves, with Bernies and Caulfied to crash through the cellar door, back to B Grade in '27, with no last round favours.
See you at the mid-year break when the great Dave Murray will lead the Big V to the promised land!
