None other than the infamous Iranian champion, the Iron Sheik of WWF (before the fake World Wildlife Fund forced them to change their name to WWE) fame, ally and tag team partner of Nikolai Volkov and the target of many a vehement BOO which would have put even Wurst Coast fans to shame
Now that you’ve dried your tears, the important question is which AFL team should be wearing the black armbands for the Sheikmeister this weekend - in other words, who did the Sheik support? Allow me if you will to present a few possibilities:
1. Footscray: the multicultural melting pot of Melbourne
2. Carlton: former superpower and despised enemy
3. West Coast: a dictatorship, allegedly possessing weapons of mass destruction but in reality? Nothing!
4. GWS: well, there’s no need to labour the point
Feel free to make a case for anyone else… or indeed for who the IS would never support because of their capitalist imperialistic ways
