Van Berlo actually faked his injury because Chuck Norris wanted him to fly to the US. Apparently Chuck keeps getting beaten up and needs Van Berlo to show him some new moves. Van Berlo said fine - but only after winning the World Cup....hence the 6-8 weeks off.

The camera didn't show it all but Guus Hiddink actually was about to beat the FIFA official to an absolute pulp. The only being in the world strong enough to hold back an irate Guus is VB. Luckily he was there and stopped the angry Dutch man.

The Egyptian ref knew he made a mistake and he didnt look over at the Aussie bench all night after seeing Van Berlo slowly shake his head.

The ref was actually going to pay that penalty to Japan in the dying moments, until, out of the corner of his eye he saw Van Berlo mouth the words "I wouldnt do that if I was you"
