This guy is struggling big time, he played great footy in 2002 and looked like a great pickup but once again he is injured. He played great against the tigers and i think he is one of the best crumbers in the AFL but when do you say enough is enough and cut the guy. His injuries seem like the kind where he might only be 27 but may have only if lucky 1 or 2 years left in him.

You might be right some Dees fans are losing patience with Vards but when he's out there we're a far more potent team. Things fell away once he went off against the Dogs, it wasn't just coincidence.

He could be back for Sydney @ Telstra Stadium but more likely Carlton @ the G.

He's not dead yet, but it is a worry.
