My vent is that we as a club always put players above the club and then unleash on a few whipping boys.


Logically, we should be getting GWS and Gold Coast draft picks and giving them ready made players, but we won't because we like the story of idealising our stars and not thinking about creating a future premiership side.

I'M genuinely embarrassed that the moderators have turned this board into almost as big a joke as our footy club where the majority of playing personnel, or in this forum posters, have to be shielded from constructive criticism and need to be Dimma drones and toe the company line. Well, all that worked great for our football club. 36 years and counting since a premiership, zero finals win since 2001, a 13th placed finish this year and decades of poor development and list management with a dud coach, but I'm told to smell the roses, view the rainbows and blow soap bubbles. What a joke!

Posters like you are so in over your head you legit think anyone who isn't sprouting the same dribble in and out of every single thread wants to turn the board into some dictatorship where only positive thoughts are allowed. No one here cares about negativity/criticism, they care about every single thread being turned into the same old "sack dimma, peggy sucks" mindless garbage, which in itself is a joke. I think a lot of problems with the Tigers board would be eliminated if they implemented a simple knowledge and adequacy test to prospective new (and some old) posters. Then we wouldn't have to put up with nonsense views from some who believe Cleve Hughes was a a good player out of luck, Ty Vickery i a genuine 45-50 goal a year forward and a pack marking machine, Astbury is adequate and Hardwick is a master coach.
