I reckon Pearce does too, but very good call! It was obvious tonight, those 2 attacked the contest, ran straight, ignored pissy little handpasses backwards and sideways and went direct!

I do my votes before looking at the others and tonight we saw it little differently

5 Pearce - thought he was very good tonight, calm and defensively just knows where to go. There was at least 2 passages of plays where more senior players gave him the 'you take it' handpass ...only for him to make sure the next player in the chain was in a better position.

4 Hase - Liked his game a lot, worked very hard.

3 Ibbo - good game, a couple of vital skill errors at time but generally at least they were amde when being attacking

2 Suban - Anyone who doubts this kid's disposal really does not know what they are talking about.

1 Duff - Entrenched in our best 10 players now for me. Consistently good.

Unlucky: Bradley, Duffman, Pearce, Broughton was OK too though clangered quite badly early ... but then again S.Black was doing that too so can't go too hard on him. BTW, for whoever said that Dodd cost us a goal, FFS he probably (along with Taz) saved us 10 - the back line was peppered something terrible in the 2nd and 3rd and it was their play and discipline that kept us in it.
