In IP's absence, I'll try to get some votes from youse Freo faithful...

(BTW, trust IP to have the good fortune to miss our worst defeat of the last 13 years - some people have all the judgement...)

Post votes in here - but no discussion please - use the other threads for that.

Gunyungun votes for this round are Stephen Hill and Nick Suban.

FFCBFPOTY gets voted on as 5-4-3-2-1 votes if you feel they were among our best 5 players on the ground.

Gunyungun gets 2-1 votes, or 2-0, or 2-1, if you think they all played well and deserve recognition. Or nothing for nobody if they sucked.

Thanks.

2 - Schammer (purely on effort)
1 - Duffman (purely on effort)

.05 - Sandi (for that chase - at least he tried to lift us)

Negative 50 votes for everyone else...

No young guys deserve votes...

4. Schammer - worked very hard, esp getting into space - our highest priority
3. Duffield - cleaned up a lot of other guys's messes
2. Tarrant - solid, if not spectacular
1. Sandilands - did all he could

BYB

2. Suban - solid under a lot of pressure

3. Schammer - worked hard, but still looked in a different league compared to the Saints mids
2. Haze
1. Pav - didn't have it near enough, but was very good when he did get half a chance and our top scorer with 7 points :D:o

Best Youngins

2 points for my 2 year old daughter catching a few minutes before bedtime exclaimed "They're silly" (was the most accurate thing I'd heard all night).

1. Sandilands (for that spectacular chase, provided a rare highlight)

3 - Schammer
2 - Hase
1 - Duff

If Taz played the whole game down back I probably would have given him votes too. We're finally on a good thing but we keep throwing him back up forward. It's like Harvey is deliberately trying to never give the team a chance to gel.

BYB
1 - Hill
1 - Suban

5. Duff
4. Haze
3. Grover
2. Jonno
1. Scham

BYB
2. Hill - His effort put others to shame
1. Suban - Gutsy but took a while to adjust to the pressure then did ok.

5 - Haselby
4 - Johnson
3 - Schammer
2 - Pavlich
1 - Tarrant

BYB

Suban - 2
Hill - 1

(for what its worth i didn't vote schammer purely because the whole game i don't think he ever went the first option, one example was Hase screaming at him from 30-40 metres out and had plenty of time to kick it to him but didnt.... instead kicked it to a 50/50 which we lost and then saints went on to score a goal from that possesion....)

No BYB.

Oh... Hill needs to work on his defensive side... i think atleast 75% of the time Gram (his opponent) got it Hill was about 20 metres away from him and then proceeded to chase him to no avail... happened alot.

5: Duffman
4: Grover
3: Rodger
2: M.J.
1: Hase

I have given the defenders votes because despite the ball coming in so often on the turnover , it was a respectable effort to keep the Saints score to ( a few soft goals inflated) 116 points.

You're lucky I like you Rip (and also that I saw your votes would give the Duffman maximum points for this week, like he deserves... no offence, Byron). I'll edit the scores to reflect these.
