For me its like this, had he been a number 45 pick then yes, we can put it down to first game nerves, but as a first pick of the bunch, i expect more. The kicks were like a kid who had just picked up a footy for the first time, that shouldnt happen for a no 6 pick in the elite competition. They also lacked penetration more often than not. And dare i say it, he just looks to slow and small for the position he played in. ;)
Gee not expecting much from a debutant are you?

3. Jack- Need I say more
2. Cotchin- Seemed to burn himself out in the first five minutes (don't blame him with all the expectation on him) but got better as the game went on.
1. Jackson- Rarely butchered it and kept Judd quiet for large parts of the game and scored two good goals.

Few side notes:

-Conca looks calm and clever. He was also very courageous in a few instances.
-Rance competed well and always looks to drive forward. He has improved our of sight with his judging of the flight of the ball, hopefully he can keep it up because he has a lot of good assets for a big man.
-Vickery was competitive in the air which was pleasing, hopefully he can keep it up for the rest of the season.

Cogga not sure if you're taking the piss re: Conca. And I'm hardly biased, sat with a few Blues, and talking to mates that watched from home that were all impressed with his ball use and composure.

3- Reiwoldt
2- Rance -best Tiger game yet.
1- White - As above - best game yeat. Found his new position.

vOTE are not for goal kickers, most disposals in midfield;
3. Reiwoldt, 6 goals, forward pressure, some hard tackling, great body language, tried to keep all his team mates positive. (weel done). Boy can not remeber the last time a forward got the ball , and you expect a goal (probably Roach. Another number 8, Another Tasmanian)!

2. Mathew White absolutley distroyed Carlton's best player over the pre season, keeping him to 4 disposals; He positive attack was one of the reasons, we got back into the game. His pass to Jackson was shown some 3 - 4 times on the screen.

1. Nahas a guy whom doesn't attract much love, one of our whipping boys, especially with Tambling gone. However guys, he took on thier midfield, kept chasing ran & broke the lines, spread well, bought the ball into the corridor. I think he played his best game for the club. Well done...

3- Riewoldt- easily our best player for the night
2- Jackson- did a great job on judd for 3 qtrs
1- Nahas- was prepared to take the opposition on and was very good

naa dude its the other way around, alot here dont expect much.
Just thought his disposal lacked penetration and as a top draft pick, taking into account The Cotchins, Martins, Lids etc of this world, disposal shouldnt be a problem. ;)

would have thought the perfect spot for developing a future midfielder is in the midfield. I guess that they developed Martin the wrong way then fool. ;)

Different type of player and body shape, however I still don't want Martin in the guts too much. Don't want to Coughlan him, with your name you should know all about this.
