3: Coughlan
2: Cracker
1: Johnson

Worhty mentions to Stafford, Hilton, Gaspar, bowden and those we have constantly singled out as hacks in Bidders petiffer and vardy who all contributed well in an overall superb team effort

Biddiscombe suprised me and did well, I didn't realise he had such a huge kick on him. How much better did Pettifer look running out of defence as opposed to how he'd been going up forward.

I initially thought that pettiffer would not be able to handle a defensive roll given by danny but to my surprise he kept his head, was reasonably hard at the ball showed resonable foot skills and linked up well with others out of defense. I doubt it would be a permanent role that danny would give him but it would have given him a huge lift in confidence.

We smacked them badly in the middle and Krakouer was the dominant player in the forward line!

Who would have though - keeping Essendon to only 5 goals in perfect conditions and with Lloyd and Lucas up forward!

3: Coughlan
2: Krakouer
1: Staff

Sorry to: Johnson, Bowden, Hilton, Bidders, Gas, Chaff, Vardy (for a bit)

The first two off my picks arent suprising. I thought that Staff was fantastic. Seeing he had to ruck all day long and also against 2 ruckman he did a fantastic job.

BTW, if it werent for Johnson our side wouldnt be what it is. He frees up Bowden, Coughlan, Campbell etc in the guts. Johnson is and will always be a star.

3 - Johnson
2 - Cogs (Brownlow :-))
1 - Krak

And well done Chaff

Go Tiges - fantastic attitude - can sure beat a team of so-called champions.

Party time lol

what an absolute team effort.
3/-krakour:5 goals with no tall most of the time to feed off a great effort.
2/-stafford:battled on almost singe handedly in the ruck.wasnt beaten.
1/-chaffey:boy what a hard slection but chaff once again played the half back role perfectly.
special mentions to:cogs,A.kellaway, tivvers, johnson and the rest of the mighty tigers.

After reviewing the tape i'd concede i was to generous in my assessment of his footskills but overall i thought it was the best game, by 'his" standards since 2001.

Cogs you just missed out, could not give you a vote with 9 clangers, You are my current fav player at the club but i thought that hurt your game.

On the topic of clangers, did you realise that Pettifer was credited with ZERO!!!

Good win by the boys. Watched it on telly and my bottle of red is definately safe:D
I thought you would have been at Alberton watching Westies against the Magpies, Doug?

Enjoyable game against Essendon - for a change.

Great to watch the way Johnson delivers the ball to the advantage of the forwards. Petiffer could use a few tips on not kicking it so the leading forward has to back up.

Thought GAS did a great job as did all the backman - Newman, Chaff, Kellaway, Zantuck, Hilton - underated backline if you ask me.

And finally, Cogs was in as hard as usual. I doubt we pay this guy enough!

Go The Mighty Tigers

So hard to vote again this week which can only be a good thing

3 Johnson
2 Coughlan
1 Krakouer

Mentions to

Gaspar Kellaway Chaffey Stafford Tivendale Bowden Cameron and every other Richmond player. :D

Yet again an excellent team effort to be proud of, well done Tigers such a good win :)
Always good when we are able to beat Essendon should happen more often though.
3rd on ladder with only 2 losers. I'm loving the winning felling even more so the way we are winning, Keep it up Richmond. :)
