How anyone could leave Scotland out of the votes staggers me

Scotty was good no doubt, which is why I mentioned him, but I thought he did his best work after half time when the game was won. I though the 5 I voted for were more influential when the game was on in the first half.

5. Judd - yet another game full of class, 3 Brownlow votes for sure.
4. Scotland - continued the form which has made him almost a certainty for AA selection.
3. Gibbs - found plenty of the ball & again drifted forward to get among the goals.
2. Murphy - flashed in & out of the game, but did enough to deserve votes.
1. Warnock - dominated the ruck & gave our midfield an armchair ride.

BYP - Ellard - his 3 goals put him just ahead of Laidler, who was solid in defence once again.

A special mention to Thornton, who didn't make my votes, but once again demonstrated his value both up forward & down back. I think Thornton is in career best form & will be an integral part of our best 22 come September.
