3. Richard Tambling - Played a good game today, provided run and was the only one willing to back himself in with the ball.

2. Brett Deledio - Had heaps of it, disposal was alright and kicked a couple of goals, was far from bad.

1. Jack Riewoldt - Started off poorly, but went back and played admirabley, looks like being a played at both ends.

Deledio clearly our best and probably our best player in 2008 full stop.
Schulz was OK even in the 1st half when we stank.
Tambling got the one vote by default. Still makes basic errors, but his effort cannot be questioned. At least tried to run with the football and create something while almost everyone else stood and watched.
Foley could almost get votes for sheer persistence. Got well held, but still goes 100% at it regardless of what the clock says.

deledio our best player in 2008 you reckon....have you not been watching number 12 run around. i argree deledio has been very good this year, probs our 2nd best...but a very distant second from richo- who has been in our best players every game bar the north and collingwood games from memory and has been our best player or two in 4 or 5 games.

Richo - As usual gave 100% and got a bit of it but didn't hurt the swans really...
Cotchin - Same as the last 2 weeks. Quality whenever he gets it... actually even when he does not get it. Smothers, knock-ons, shepherds etc... It was great to see him live.
