War Crimes Or Murder?

What constitutes a war crime? One death or 100 ? Someone once said the best place to hide a murder is in a battle.Is the following murder or a war crime.

An international investigation is in full swing into claims a second Nazi war criminal could be living in Perth, Nazi hunter Efraim Zuroff says.

Alleged war criminal Charles Zentai was arrested in Perth last month and could be extradited to Hungary to face allegations of abducting and murdering a Jewish teen in 1944.

The 83-year-old pensioner, who lives in the Perth suburb of Willeton, is suspected of having tortured and murdered 18-year-old Jewish man Peter Balazs in Budapest while serving in the army of Hitler's wartime ally, Hungary.

So he murdered one person. Or is it his Jewishness that makes it a war crime? And if so why should a single Jewish death be more important than a single Ukranian death?

The sooner the Simon Weisenthal centre shuts down the sooner people can get on with their lives. Please dont mistake my concerns , if he is guilty as charged of murder he should face the law.. as a murderer not as a war criminal.

lots of people kill during war ...only the war criminals torture their victims to death. and does it matter whether the victim was jewish or whatever ??
