Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
maybe it was the drug dealer in the car with chick that they were interested in. your attitude of it must be someone elses fault and head in the sand is the exact same attitude your club has taken over the years. The WA Police have stated the car Cousins was in was stopped because of "erratic driving".
No reason however has been offered for why the car Chick was in was pulled over.
The "erratic driving" excuse appears now to be merely a cover story for a bungled attempt at a sting operation involving a frenetic 2 hr car search desperately trying to find something to hang the man with.
WAPS and more specifically the Organised Crime Squad - hang your heads in shame if you have lied to the public. Oh & you might want to use your seatbelts next time boys. Not a good example to the general public who pay many thoudands of dollars in fines each year for doing the same thing.
Who else finds it unusual that the traces of ecstacy and cocaine found on the $20 note were not considered sufficient grounds for proceeding with the charges?
I think people get 2 issues very mixed up
One is Cousins as a footballer
One as Cousins as a citizen.

Maybe they should've charged the girl in the car who owned it. Let's be realistic. Money changes hands 100s of times. Those traces could be anyone's.Just back on Cousins' car for a minute. Who else finds it unusual that the traces of ecstacy and cocaine found on the $20 note were not considered sufficient grounds for proceeding with the charges? The $20 note was not in Cuzzy's possession at the time but that hardly counts as an excuse, does it? Would it have been different if he was the only one in the car? Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.![]()
Well just connecting the dots......
- Chick, Cuz and associates meet n northbridge
- They go there seperate ways and get pulled over
- Chick has a dealer in his car with a range of illegal drugs and implements to take drugs
- Cuz has a range of "legal" drugs and a bag of cash
Horribly picked on they were.
Drugs, is that good enough reason for you?

Agree. Either Cuzzy is as guilty as they come or an incredibly unlucky victim of many circumstances....go figure!
There are some deluded people on here. Ben and Daniel were stopped by police, just like any of us could be tomorrow.
You dont have to be driving 'eratically' to be pulled over ...
so who really cares.
I do. If the police who are supposedly servants of the public have lied to that same public, it's disgraceful.

What of the West Coast administrators & players who have lied to the members of the club? For handing over their hard earned, members deserve a bit of accountability & integrity from those running & playing for the club. It would appear the police have perhaps dropped the ball on this one, but only after they picked the ball up following it being dropped several times by the West Coast Eagles Football Club. Surely the role of certain administrators in perhaps covering up some of what has been going on should be questioned by the members. This is even more disgraceful then anything the police have done in relation to Eagles' players.
Oh for crying out loud, stop trying to defend Cousins. He's been involved in night club shootings, drug dealing etc. Of course the police want to get him!
. Why it's an issue that so many (including yourself) want to steer away from escapes me.
The answer is simple, because it is not an issue to me ...
Why you are trying so hard to deflect from the real issues is beyond me and most people here.
If it's not an issue to you why continually post here?
Solid argument..
I wasn't aware you were only allowed to express your opinion if you agree with the OP.
My issue is with people who are trying to find reasons to hide from the simplicity of scenario.
My OP says the police should be ashamed if they lied and it's the crux of my original post. You disagree with my OP. So you think police should lie? Great argument.![]()
Firstly you are arguing a point to which you dont know the answer- 'if they lied'.
...more important things to worry about than your OP
The answer to my question AT THIS STAGE is uncertain. Does that mean it can't be discussed? The last thread you started was based on a question that is uncertain too. It doesn't mean I would ever argue you can't discuss it.
I never said you can't argue it.
Just I think it's pointless and is hiding from the real issues.
When it goes back to court, or Cousins sues the Police (as his lawyer has intimated) I believe it will be answered. You will most probably never know the answers to your OP.
Thanks again for your permission to engage in freedom of speech. You can discuss it all you want and that is what we are currently doing.
