Captain Brown has a vision....

This week is one of the biggest games this club has played this century. For too long the Richmond Football club has dropped these games and finished the season prematurely.

Reason: We have never had a top class, A1 player* with the skill and nouse to take the game by the back of the neck and drag their team across the line in the time of need. Enter Trent Cotchin.

This week, against all the odds, i am expecting the young man to have a blinder and drag our beloved tigers across the line.

As much as we love him and can se hes a gun...he hasn't won as a match yet (which Kreuzer has done at Carlton)...so it might be his week. And hopefully ours too!!!

If we win, its going to be because our defence is better than their forwardline, and our forwardline is better than their defence. They KILL us in the midfield with strength, experience, endurance and skill. All we have over them in the midfield is speed. Cotchin wont have much impact, as hagansbull said earlier, its going to be browny (either for us, or for them) that wins it.

Cotchin really is a quality youngster, who is settling in nicely at Richmond.

Was a great get, and will be a quality long term star at Richmond.

Well done to TW and the recruiting staff for spotting such great young player, and moulding this talent into a player that will be a huge chance to win a Brownlow during his career
