Honestly, we just got rid of Brad Miller and we wont to replace him with.......dad dah dah dah......A player who is similar but even worse than Brad Miller.

This better be BS.:thumbsd:

the worse we can use is a rookie pick, i think you may be acting a little dramatic haha

jack anthony has already signed with freo though so it makes it difficult

Answer me this, why did we de-list Miller?

Hansen and Hale are nothing alike either. One is a stay at home forward the other is a lead up handball first option. Much like Miller.

Hansen is a shit kick at goal, Hansen has no physical presence (which is what we need), Hansen doesnt take contested grabs, Hansen is one of the worst players in the game.

Im calling HS BS.

There is no chance in hell we would do something so stupid. No way. We better not. Could we?

Wrong again Deefolt. Fault, Double Fault. Game, set, match Rudeurrection.

If we de-list someone before the PSD we can use our pick in the PSD draft to nab Anthony ahead of Freo. Just because he is training with them doesn't mean he is signed sealed delivered. GC are considering nabbing as well.

Joel MacDonald trained with North last pre-season and we nabbed him before they could.

Miller was de-listed because he is not in the same league as Hansen.

How do you know remember circa 2005-2006 when WCE was doing really well, Hunter was rated quite highly, why has things changed because only damn good forwards can kick bags consistently with no midfield.

If the injury doesnt bother him I think he will be a greate asset

I didnt say training i said did a deal. And it is the same reason why luke ball wasnt nabbed before pick 30 last year. Teams want players who want to play for them to play for them.

Maybe that was just a bad example.

Miller was de-listed because he is shit, Hansen was de-listed by the wooden spooner because he is also shit, i mean FFS they chose a guy at pick 26 who they believe will be better than him, next year!!

If we have no faith in Cook, Bate, Watts or Howe then perhaps we should got off our arse in trade week. Plenty of forwards we could have chased who were better than Hale or Hansen.

Oh and circa 05-06, we dont have a midfield as good as WCE of then (yet) and Hansen isnt 23 anymore buddy.

Hansen is le gariarbaige.

Alternatively Hansen was delisted because of the back injury. See Meesen for Melbourne. Meesen was most likely going to still be playing for Melbourne if he wasnt in fact injured.

Hansen for WCE. I am sure we have great faith in our Draftees, though they are draftees and forwards. Look at Watts for example, last year he started to show us why we picked him, and next year he will show us more examples.

No we dont have a good midfield as them 2005-06 though we have a better one then them 2008-2010, their midfield went bad real quick. So their forwards werent getting the supply thus not kicking consistent goals.

And no he is not 23, but he is a premiership player forward who can teach our youngsters how to possibly cope with pressure. Miller could do that for them. Miller has probably taught as much as he could.

He was training with Melbourne in the lead up to the PSD so that really blows away your theory.

So if we are using tennis terms, i am going to challenge the last call. Which was successful and somehow that lead up to game set match to Deefolt over Ruduerrection

Ill guarantee you MacDonald was training with North before we committed to him with pick 1. After we told him we would take him with pick 1 he came and trained with us.

It appears Hawk Eye has ruled in my favour. Game Set Match.

you are right with that, and im not denying that. BUT if Freo have made a deal with him you would think the other clubs chances of getting him are rather slim.

The Joel MacDonald thing is a strange comparison. I don't even know why he trained with Kangas, he had no real hope of going to them at the end of the day. It was going to be Richmond or Melbourne.

So the Kangas training is very strange. Was Brad Scott the coach around pre-season time? If so that would explain why he was training with Kangas.

Read the article, no where does it say we are actually interested in him. It just assumes we will be interested because we were in the market for an experienced tall forward.

We will not go after Hansen.

Says in the article he's a Brisbane boy, surely he would of thought to nick off to the Gold Coast. All done and dusted now of course just thinking:rolleyes:

Ashley Hansen...

I'm all for giving blokes a second chance, but a 27yo pea heart that has injury concerns and has never actually done anything is surely very very low on the radar.

Hansen would have to be in the top 10 spuds in the AFL wouldn’t he?

As for Anthony Deefolt he only has a deal in principle, can not be ratified until Freo pick him in the draft. Anyone with a pick before Freo can easily take him, and I'd suggest if we did we'd be a massive chance to do so.

Hansen would fit quite well into your forward line as you have no other good forwards.

Two reasons why this comment makes you look like an idiot:

1. Brad Green (2010 All Australian squad) and Liam Jurrah can be considered 'good' forwards. Petterd will be if you saw his start to 2010.

2. Adding Hansen to a forward line with no other good forwards implies Hansen is a good forward...which he is not.

I don't have a twin but if I did I reckon we'd be heading over to Colarado.

:thumbsu:

We would have to pay out someone on our list to draft Hansen which I dont see happening.

As for a rookie spot, I really only see the value in protecting Watts, Cook and Jurrah for 1 or 2 more seasons until their bodies are stronger.

But in that scenario I would have probably prefered Miller.
