I'll answer my own question. From the Bears website:
" fast, hard-running small forward with good goal sense. Played four games last season, mainly off the bench, before injuring an anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, ruling him out for 12 months. Was delisted at the end of the season but selected in the rookie draft. Renowned for his chasing and tackling."

That was my first thought. Brisbane have a shortage of small forwards, and you have a surplus.

Clearly Voss doesn't rate him.

Despite what the website says about being renowned for chase and tackle, he's very much a one way passenger. Can do some freakish stuff at times.

His nickname is Nuxy. You may remember him as the bloke who slid into Lockyer's knees in the 4th quarter in round 2 and got a free kick & goal.

Considering it was a 7th round pick, we've really got nothing to lose on that one. Just a little confused as to where he'll play, though. We have an abundance of players who can play that kind of small forward role, perhaps he will replace Rhyce as a linebreaker through the centre.

Toovey would go over Stanley I belive and Corrie decent pick up played 20 games this season so can't be too bad. Im excited and he cost nothing,

i know he hasnt had a whole heap of games , at least its a player that can give our list some depth , whether hes in the 22 pushing one out or just on the fringe making some guys in the 22 earn their spot.
