Well it would effectivily be four, due to our percentage. I can't see anyone ever overtaking us percentage wise, so that means needing to win one more game to finish above us.

Maybe another post should be started !!........i know every game now is important regarding keeping momentum leading into the finals BUT how huge now are our next two trips to perth...ie Cuz's return (good to see Jimmiee's back to his best too) & freo's turn around.
What a season....

What a season....

We don't play West Coast in Perth, unless we have to go over there during the finals, which will be highly unlikely considering our current form.

We smashed Freo over there by 11 goals last year when we were at least a 6-7 goal inferior team. Hopefully that means we beat them by 100 points plus this time around. :D I'll just be happy with a win of any magnitude though, even a 1 point thriller.

^^^Only one trip to Perth coming up, that's next week against Freo.
correction there !! i was thinking of the first round set-up.That changes my thought process now, with Scarlo back & them losing Dodd we should be right.
Is'nt it funny how with such the legacy of what premierships bring (Sheed's & the bombers) how former team mates & premierships team mates love coming up against each other when there opposing coaches....ie Harvey's smirk when he said he looks forward to coming up against Bomber next week.
Hopefully we'll have that legacy in yrs to come.

Amazing to think that Geelong and Kangas could be clear 1st and 2nd..

That's awesome. Even better, they're in alphabetical order! :D Clearly we'd have to have the best midfield, on current form, in the league, to go with the best attack and defence.

Did anyone here watch the Hawks-Saints game last night? If so, was it played as a tough, contested kind of game, free flowing or was it like their snore fest earlier in the year? If it was tough and contested, that might cast a huge question mark over the Hawks come September, considering they got thrashed by an Adelaide side playing a similar style a few weeks ago, and nearly all finals are played that way.

I for one can't wait till we play them again. I'm sure we'll shut a lot of their supporters up in Bay 13 and on the main board. :):thumbsu:
