Nice work on your part in declaring him for Collingwood about a year ago! :D

Very happy with Rusty on our list, bottom-aged Victorian big-stage player, has all the Hine attributes. Going to be a great addition to our midfield. :thumbsu:

Alright TRS, now you can say "I told you so" :)

I'm very glad that our focus in this draft was first and foremost to build up our midfield stocks, and Steele looks like a great attacking player with excellent skills. Looking forward to seeing this bloke play.

I am officially the king of draft predictions - In about a month, I'll let everyone know who our top pick will be next year ;)

I think I officially get to claim #1 spot in the Rusty Sidebottom fan club, given that I founded it almost a year ago :thumbsu:

this guy will be an outstanding player for collingwood. I am from the area and am good mates with one of his brothers. Cut the BS. He has got what is required to play at this level - smart, great kick, good overhead and is a pure footballer. So you have done beautifully with this kid. Don't worry about athleticism and other irrelevant stuff. He can get the footy.

Exceptionally happy with Sidebottom.
A mid and what we needed.

Thanks Red, you did pretty well to pick up Yarran.

I'm glad you're all so thrilled with our BUNS OF STEELE!

I am also excited. It's hard to be dissapointed with a player who is equally proficient on both sides of his body, is a medium defender at draft camp, kicks 10 goals when played as a forward, gets a crap load of it uncontested and contested and can use it and marks like Medhurst! And apparently he's hung like a rogue stallion, always picks the winner in the cup, can bench press Rocca, has more game with the ladies then DT and recently completed his PhD. I know... hard to believe!! (hope i'm not pumping up his tyres too much)

Settle down now, DW, he hasn't pulled on a jumper yet.

Well if he doesn't make it as a footballer he could walk into the pr0n industry. Of coarse he would keep his name.

He was certainly a safe bet. His got a lot of what is required of the modern footballer. Namely elite kicking and endurance. His neat inside but I don't think that will be his strong point at AFL level. Hopefully he works out similar to a Dane Swan except with elite disposal which would actually make him an elite player, and I have actually got more excited about Steele as a player in writting that.

We finally have a Player who is an Elite Kick:eek:

I hope you don't mean 'only'.

When I was 17, I was 101kg. But... then again I was officially obese according to BMI :(. About 4-5 months later I was sitting around 76-77kg though. :D

Yes I did. Don't know where my 2 letters went. Must be as excited as DW.

How did you lose so much weight so quickly?

Excited isn't a word that should be used when describing how we should feel about Rusty Sidebum. When designing the perfect footballer, imagine Rusty then take off his equisite skills, looks and personality and you are there. Rusty exceeds perfection. Deep down you know that , Snag.
