Should've played our reserves 1st up at the coast.
Bauer played flown home then done his hammy.
We'd then rest prestia rnd 0.
It's the only interstate game for our VFL team this season. good to get it out of the way early.
The curious case of Jacob Bauer continues. He was training too. Bizarre.

Nothing to worry about with Bauer. He's only completed two full training sessions for the year (and did really well), so isn't ready to be playing at any level yet.
He's another one that's injury prone, so that would be why they're being ultra cautious with him.

There are some things that us fans don't need to know or deserve to know about when it comes to players being absent.
He's not injured, so you'd have to assume we don't think he's fit enough to play 2 hours of VFL footy a week? Can't remember Relton being held back. If it's mental health just have him listed unavailable or something. It's like we've cut ties with him from the outer.

All I want is for the club to somehow acknowledge that Bauer is missing from the VFL, AFL, and the injury list. It's not like he is a VFL-listed depth player, so this is strange

I agree here, but surely the Club could say he's doing a mini pre season, is indeed injured or is away for personal reasons etc. No need for specifics, but Clubs are supposed to be transparent with injuries etc this yr.

Bauer was training yesterday according to ceasar on PRE, but left the track early, so may have had a relapse with the hamstring injury. There is also speculation, that his grandfather passed away so he had some time off to deal with that.
He is training to full fitness after injury ... he is in this week's training photos ... looking good on the track
