Too good, Craig gave Laidley a football lesson today, in a word - clinical.

Well Done

Far too good for us today. Harder at it for four quarters, better skilled, better drilled.

Good luck for the rest of the year.

Yes (once again as 1997) ,I'll be barracking again on that last day in September.A greatly skilled modest team ,with a greatly skilled modest coach. Its hard for me to shake off the smartarse reactions of Smart singing the Kangas theme song at our expense at one of the '98 premiership celebrations ,but ever since Craig has arrived ,you've become my second team.Plus I lived there last year which helped a little but nevertheless ,good luck for the rest of the year ,and lets hope the Crows bring it back to West Lakes in 2006. :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

You are obviously a good sport, jozeph. Thanks for the thoughts. Same goes for other Roos fans, good stuff people.

Such a pity I can't say the same about "the Crows can't play any better than that" Laidley.

Yes well as you can see ,we're here ,and not actually waiting on the excuses.Mind you ,in defence of Laidley (no such thing) ,but for the sake of an argument ,it could be worse. He could be Malthouse and start reciting 16th century literature to divert the result.Maybe he should.

did he say that today?.. or was it from last year (..or the year before).. i can just remember that he said something bad about adelaide - and turns out that this board's favorite sports writer had just misquoted it.

It was from our narrow win round five last year. And it's probably about time ok.crows got over it.

Today Laidley was full of praise for us.

Thanks guys - must admit I was a bit worried at half time - your mob looked great in the second quarter. You'll bounce back - I'll be very surprised if the roos are still bottom four at the end of the season.

We are playing football like the Crows were under Ayres in his last couple of years. If we played aggressive attacking football we would have had a chance, this slow, wide, over-possession ball is just leading us to a slow painful death.

Very disappointed with the way we are playing football and the effort put in by our lads, that is not taking anything away from the Crows, they played great footy. If you guys didn't go to sleep in the second quarter it would have been a very embarassing result.

Cheers ... shame Mark73 made such a tool of himself on other boards.
I see. :)
What is a tool anyway? I was always of the opinion it was something that you kept in the shed.Or have we become even more Americanised? :(

PS : Where did I make a uh hum..."tool" of myself by the way?

Thats pretty much how all our opponants end up playing against us,we have an unique ability to shut you down and make you hesitate.

Only 1 side this year have we had trouble with in doing this and on the ladder they are right up our clacker.

I preferred your "pre-edit" post ;)

Only takes a quick click on your username to uncover plenty of misdemeanours.

I called you a tool because I thought it was less offensive than f.ckwit.

But have it your way .... you're a f.ckwit.

Nah, it is not the fact that Adelaide played well, it was the fact we were not prepared to do the hard work as a team. We were static, didn't run, didn't chase hard, didn't present, didn't tackle well. Those are things you can do no matter how good the opposition.

We beat the eagles in the middle when we played them, it is not that we are incapable of winning in the middle, it is the players do not have the confidence to take on the opposition because the game plan is negative and it is indirect.

If you are being tagged well it doesn't stop you from running your guts out to create an option, to make some space.

Crows do not always wait for a perfect pass up forward, at times you will kick it up to the hot spot because your plan revolves around having confidence in your team mates and everyone works for eachother.

That is the difference between how we have played this year compared to previous years, we are a team of individuals not individuals playing as a team. Until those fundamental issues are addressed we wont be going anywhere, irresepctive of the opposition.

Cheers to all the NM/Kangas supporters. Had one eye on the screen and one eye on Mothers Day lunch at some pub ...got a sore neck from twisting around...and a sore shoulder where I kept getting slapped to look back at the table :o

I thought someone turned the fans on one end. You should take a look at your second quarter and remind yourselves of what you can do if you believe and work hard

No you called me a tool because its a word used here often....Tool.Tooooool.TOOL!! Tool? You are a tool.It is a tool.I am a tool.I've never had that much interest in the garden shed myself.Only when doing the garden.
But have it your way .... you're a f.ckwit.
Awww thats sweet....I'm glad you think that much of me to form an opinion.Sorry I couldn't return the favour.

You're welcome. Anyway, shouldn't you be off 'buttf.cking' - as you so eloquently put it - someone (or thing)?
Nah Melbourne chicks couldn't hold a candle to Adelaide chicks my man.Should consider yourself a lucky lil' digger. :thumbsu:

Anyway, back on topic, well done and I hope you go all the way.I know we're going all the way,its just that the direction is yet to be confirmed. :)
