I have so much respect for your footy club and how they are reacting to what they are going through right now.

Thanks for the love guys. I couldn't be prouder of my football club and I feel so privileged to share this great feeling with my fellow Essendonians. Great inspirational words from Hird, the man never gives up and despite all the shit he's going through, he manages to stay strong, calm and collected.

On another note, Freo were bloody excellent. They were really intimidating tonight, they are a formidable ally and if they stay the course, they will be very dangerous this year.

Fantastic Friday night game and thrilling contest. Bombers showed great character coming back from so far down. Disappointed that Mayne missed that shot, especially given with how reliable he has been kicking for goal.

Tonight's match shows that both teams are on the right path and should (no injury fingers crossed) feature prominently in September.

When Pav took a mark centre wing (bay looked 90% full of Freo supporters) in the 4th, there was a noticable bronx cheer.
Was pretty disappointing IMHO given what he's done for the club (basically everything for 12 years).
