Degoey was quite good tonight... A moment typified him where he is at for me.. dashed through the centre at breakneck speed to collect a Grundy tap, ran a few paces then fumbled the ball not knowing he didn't have anyone chasing.

Just get the feeling a little more polish he'll be a star. His best game of the season

Why can't people just see as us we are? A team building, just like Melbourne or St. Kilda.

We're young we're going to be inconsistent but there's so much to like. Grundy, Treloar, Adams,Maynard, Moore, Aish.

I think we've got one of the best young sides in the league, we need to add a couple of pieces and we'll be right up there.

I'm exited about where we're going!

Shame about the coach

Where, oh where, has he shown indications he'll be a 'star'?

His ceiling for me at this stage lies somewhere between above average-good player bracket.

More than happy to be proven wrong though.

Does anyone know how we compared with games played verses the games played total by the Doggies?

Doggies were about 20 games on average less experienced than us tonight.

-Dickson blatant throw in the first quarter leads to goal
-Bontempelli caught HTB, not paid leads to goal
-Dickson drops ball in third quarter, not paid - goal
-Moore wrestled to the ground in marking contests more than once - play on
-Sidebottom's arm held, not paid
-Stringer hanging onto the ball at the death, no 50 paid
-Clear throws all night - paid one way only
-Ducking rewarded all night - one way only

I'm absolutely ropeable. That was the most umpire-influenced game I've seen.
That's when umpires become dumbhecks to me.

Lots of respect for your club and supporters. Great contest tonight and heading in the right direction.
Your posters on our board put other clubs to shame.
Looking forward to dogs and the pies battling out in September in the coming years

How about position of player drafted? Good luck with that.
OMG the Dogs have got their drafting $#!+ together. Quite annoyed after looking at the bottom 7 draft picks for each side. JJ was a very nice pick. And here we are trying to replace Davis and Shaw years later with Howe. JJ went 105  Dahlhaus a steal.

Tom Phillips Round 4, Pick #58 2015 National Draft
Jonathon Marsh Round 5, Pick #77 2013 National Draft
Rupert Wills Round 5, Pick #63 2015 National Draft
Tyson Goldsack Round 4, Pick #63 2006 National Draft
Jesse White Round 5, Pick #79 2006 National Draft
Jarryd Blair Round 5, Pick #91 2010 National Draft
Adam Oxley Round 7, Pick #92 2013 National Draft

Lachlan Hunter Round 3, Pick #49 2012 National Draft
Tory Dickson Round 3, Pick #57 2011 National Draft
Zaine Cordy Round 4, Pick #62 2014 National Draft
Luke Dahlhaus Round 4, Pick #70 2011 National Draft
Matthew Suckling Round 5, Pick #70 2009 National Draft
Liam Picken Round 6, Pick #86 2009 National Draft
Jason Johannisen Round 7, Pick #105 2012 National Draft

You guys are not far behind.

A lot of talent on your list. A good run with injuries next year for both clubs and we will be competing in the top 4

Cheers. You blokes have started firing on all cylinders with drafting though. The difference between Scharenberg and Bontempelli sums it up. It's only a rumour we were into the Bont but DAMN!
