Liked:
Watching the emerging talent at Fremantle Cerra, Brayshaw. Crowden, Banfield and the job Alex Pearce did on Daniher.
Hawks get over the line against Geelong.
Future stars Tim Kelly, Tom Doedee, Jeremy Finlayson, Charlie Curnow

Hated:
Watching Selwood consistently whinging to umpires about free kicks and dropping his knees and raising his arms for free kicks.
Umpires being bluffed and treating Dangerfield (caught holding the ball several times) and Selwood differently to other players.

Learned:
Port are a serious threat this season.
Fremantle recruiters have done very well in the last few years.
Hawthorn are a top 8 team.

Watching Godlett in flight
A good close game on Easter Monday

WB don't have a premiership hangover, they never stopped drinking.
Adelaide have impressive depth
I would rather play Far Cry than watch the sort of footy good friday gave us

Hated
Watching Joel Selwood flopping away for free kicks
Watching Joel Selwood constantly begging for free kicks
Watching Joel Selwood waste his talent and legacy for the sake of free kicks
Watching Joel Selwood get free kicks
Seeing Weitering struggle so very badly

I assume you dislike Puopolo's efforts Monday as well then?

Joel Selwood was ground zero for the 'drop your knees and lift your arm for frees' virus that has infected and is a Malcolm on our great game. It has spread to others and AFL House needs to step in and find a cure before it gets any worse.

There is a serious disconnect between the media faffing about Selwood being such a great captain and leader admired by all, when the supporters of 17 clubs think he is a complete ducker.

Hilarious over embellishment. 1. It has barely been an issue, this isn't like the deliberate behinds efforts that were embarrassing to watch or changing the center circle to stop ruckmen doing knees.
2. Melbourne showed two weeks ago you can easily tackle Joel. They got him a few times and in one of the tackles even injured him.
3. Ducking is a bigger issue in the game and one a few of your players do well. No mention there.
4. The below the knees free kick is the biggest disease our game has. Along with our professional sport not having professional umpires leading them to have insipid performances.

Liked: Crisp finally being released from the backline. When he sunk that beautiful left boot into the ball and sent it sailing through the big sticks I almost cried. It was like old times.

Liked: Scharenberg finally showing glimpses of what might be. Very exciting.

Liked: Grundy kicking ass like never before.

Disliked: Metallica. Good song, but I don't like the CFC's reason for playing it. They chose 'Nothing Else Matters' for the line 'never cared for what they say', and they highlighted that line on the scoreboard as the song played. It's Collingwood's response to all the naysayers out there. Not only that, the message on the banner eluded to 'external narrative'. It's all very cringe worthy. Here's my message to the cheer squad: If you want to shield the players from the 'external narrative', don't remind them of it by printing the words 'external narrative' ON THE ****ING BANNER!!!!!!!! Try this next week: 'It's a beautiful day, have fun out there'.

Liked: The AFL/umpire conspiracy to award Joel Selwood free kicks for ducking and the endless whining from opposition supporters :)

Learned: It's going to be a tough season for Geelong if they don't find some KPDs pronto :(

Hated: Losing to our arch rivals, of course

They got the banner the right way around at least, unlike to Bulldogs at Manuka. It was funny watching their cheersquad scramble to turn it 180 degrees at the last minute.

All the Geelong love on BigFooty.

Putting one of the youngest sides in the comp on the park and nearly nabbing a win.

The Hawks finally getting the chocolates on Easter Monday. Great rivalry.

Port showing what they're capable of.

North's win.

Tim Kelly!

Gold Coast looking much better under Dew.

Disliked:

No real KPDs for us atm.

It’s not an over-embellishment. It’s a huge problem.

He will be remembered as a player who played for free kicks and whinged to the umpire constantly. It’s embarrassing.
