I think on our day we probably wouldnt match it with a full strength st kilda/geelong... which beggs the question (even if you disagree with my initial statement...)... What sort of players do we need to include into the top 22? That said, I think collingwood has a legitimate of a flag in the next 3-4 years.
I look at rucks and think that they are acceptable - especially with the promise Wood has shown recently.
Midfield say no more - its great and its going to get better, we have grunt, skillful and match busting players for the midfield.
Back - again looking really good - really impressed with harry o, nathan brown seems to be coming along nicely, would love to see goldsack start to become consistent. obviously with presti getting older we are going to need to have a full back ready soon...is brwn up to it weeek in week out? what about ried where is he at (dont get to much vfl
)???
Forwards looking great - i think Anthony is not a match winner and perhaps we could obtain a power forwarfd but i think he does his bit in the side and will often convert the backs and mids great work on the scoreboard. i think most of our sucess this year has been our dangerous small forwards with lots for forward line presssure...??? similar to the cats of '07 ???
we have depth, talent and youth on our side....perhaps all we need is time!>>?
would love to see your thoughts...ps a pies not a dogs supporter
