Every one looks at the names such as Lloyd, Lucas and Fletch and assume that our youth must be hopeless if we can't make the eight with these older stars. But if you look at our list you will see that our problem is that the players aged between Davey (23 years 3 months) and Lloyd(29 years 4 months) are close to the worst in the league. My guess and it is only a guess is they will struggle for 2-3 years.
there problems are numerous. i think they have been a bit lucky this year winning 4 games they should have lost but that is irrelevant.
Replacing ageing stars is impossible. so dont try and do it. What are we supposed to do then???
depth is an issue. they have not put the game time into young players so there development has been slow. As Tambu had said we have had a lot of injuries through our youth, but after this weekend every player on our list would have played a senoir game.
they have no ruck or quality on ballers coming through. Ryder, Laycock?? Our current midfield is built around our youth so that part of our game should only get better.
Bombers fans. Get ready to go down. anyone young wont know what it is like for your team to be hopeless but you will find out.
