That premise hardly stands up when you consider the 2 most hated clubs in the poll have 1 flag each these past 20 years.

However, given the Blues fall from grace into Saints-like form this century, one can certainly understand the motive behind your invective.

If there's one group of supporters who are currently receiving a stern lesson in humility, then it's most assuredly Carlton.

Sorry mate, I probably should have been clearer: the supporters that have witnessed significant success are most likely those that carry the traits that irritate others ie. talking down about other clubs, their fans & carrying a general know-it-all attitude IMO.

I couldn't agree more on Blues fans, I've witnessed v. little in my lifetime to be smug or arrogant about & couldn't be less interested in chestbeating etc.

It may just be that the success of the clubs noted across that time-frame gave rise to a larger than average representation of w***er supporters.

It's more than obvious that the media hates Hawthorn with a passion.....Green & salty, Sour Jelly beans.

Hawthorn are the biggest victims. There there. We can all tell you how good you've been and make things better. Wouldn't want precious widdle hawthorn to feel upset because the nasty media personalities don't like them
