Looking forward to the port game. They have had issues with being "the favourite" this year, so a win and to make it 3 in a row would be very nice.

The quicker they can nail down winning the winnable, instead of losing the unloseable will get us towards finals and some real confidence.

I remember a few years ago, the saints won the last few games in a row to finish the season. The next year they came out and crushed it.
Hopefully something similar can happen with the Dees.

I can't think of the season. I was thinking a similar thing with Collingwood 01. They finished bottom 99 and by 01 they were clearly the best team out of the 8. Obviously they went on and almost won the grand final in 02, I'm not saying that just comparing the list build over a few years and there gradual rise up the ladder. Obviously we need teams like north to slide and be able to beat the teams also competing for the 8 like saints port ect.

Let's just finish top two instead and play all finals at the MCG where we apparently have a 63% winning record in finals.

Correct, not that it matters but we lost two finals that should have been played interstate. West Coast hosting us at VFL park and Adelaide at the MCG in 02

It's funny, I never even registered that we finally got 3 in a row last year. I just assumed we were constitutionally incapable of such a feat and never considered it again.
