I hear all these comments about not trading number 5 for bartel, saying it is too valuable. now let me ask, when has coillingwood last drafted a decent 1st rounder??

I agree collingwood supporters think that a good deal is to trade away there hasbeen 30 year old players and trucks that no one wants (Woewodin) and a late pick for up and coming top 5 players from other clubs such as Bartel! If you want to get a good player to come to your club uve got to be willing to trade something good in return. No way would geelong take pick 21 for Bartel who was a top ten pick and probably will play another quality 150 games for geelong. That why we got nick stevens a couple of years back and will happily take bartel in the pre-season draft early next year.
