Lots of Palmer rumours I remember a recent one on here about how someone was convinced (close to Palmer they reckoned) that he would walk to GWS for the money. Done deal blah blah blah

If we did lose Palmer to GWS, I wouldnt be against having Rich in to replace - but would much prefer both Either way - just another rumour

WC perhaps having an early PSD pick works for us too though; "Make a trade or I walk to the PSD."

I'd be interested to know how much the club you support as a kid influences players looking for contracts. In a line-ball decision I could see it being important, but surely a player would be looking bigger picture than that.

Probably less of a factor for Victorians but would probably have some impact on West Aussie's and South Australians looking to head home.

If Palmer regains form then decides to walk then a deal could be done but the Eagles will have the picks and capspace that make the deal more likely IMO. If Worsfold keeps his job it will probably only be a 2 year term so he will need a reasonable season in 2012 so could be keen to add someone who is ready to play with good footskills.
