I saw someone else comment there's not water dripping off the croc. Seems valid.

I'm not sold either way, but it's bloody big.

Maybe the croc was the same one in the original and they've only enlarged that. Would eliminate any shadowing/texture problems.

What about this? The croc is supposed to be chasing the meat being dangled but it's too far forward, the meat is behind it.

Apparently the original looks like this:

hmmmmm.jpg

(Please note: I didn't put that together, only found it)

Even for an original it doesn't look overly convincing.

There's no spray, nor water dripping. There should be both. The people don't look like there's a bloody great croc there either. Also, the photo is coming from outside of the boat. While by no means impossible, in the presence of such a large, aggressive creature, leaning out of the boat like that probably goes against every human instinct. Also, the croc is missing the meat that's there for him by quite some margin. Crocs are very precise killing machines, it's not going to take a couple of shots to get a piece of hanging buffalo meat.

Looks like it's definitely a smaller croc replaced with a big croc. Possibly a different, dry picture of "Brutus" put into an "action shot" of a smaller croc.

Wait, no, apparently just enlarged. A bit odd that there's no water/spray.

Yeah the shadow seems to stop at the start of the boats edge.

I remember when I went on a trip to Broome with Camp Quality and Channel 7 did a feature on us. Anyway that day we were going on a fishing charter. Instead of filming us actually fishing they wanted to do it before we left. At first they were going to film us fishing and catching nothing but the charter boat had a big frozen Pink Snapper on the boat.

In the end he attached it to a hand line (yes a handline) and on the news the next night they showed one of the kids pulling in this 6-10kg pink snapper on a handline, with the boat captain grabbing the fish and pretending to drop it as it "flopped around". Was so funny to watch the footage knowing how much effort went into shooting that scene. I could even see the ice still on the fishs mouth

For the love of god, stop putting smilies in the title of your post before the thread name to denote a non-serious post.

I mean ffs, it's ****ing painful to read.

Geez some people worry about some pretty miniscule stuff.

I'm just using the function for its intended purpose. What difference does it make?

this was my first thoughts when i saw the photo.

i would've thought the tour operator wouldn't let them hang out the boat like that anyway. i can't stand all the rules and regulations that get put in place in this country (read: dislike the nanny state as some would put it) but this is one rule i could probably live with :)
