Hope everyone’s enjoying some of the glimpses of brilliance from the young Blues impressive collection of raw talent. Last night just re-confirmed why the Blues have the most talented younger player group in the AFL by an absolute mile. Murph continues to show off his extreme talent and class, despite heavy opposition attention. He was obviously extremely disappointed after not being able to collect the 2006 Rising Star award because of injury, but now bigger goals await. The primary focus is flags 17 and 18 at Carlton, but I have no doubt Murph will pick up a Brownlow or 2 along the way. The question is not if but when. :)

At this point in time he'd have to be favourite for the brownlow this year in the eyes of the wise football supporter. He's an absolute lock to win it at least twice, and at the rate he's going I'd be quite happy to predict he becomes the first player to win 4 of them.

I'll give you 100-1 on him this week, which is also what Centrebet is offering.

More favoured then Judd. Please don't be stupid. He will not win one. Not now, not ever.

edit: Any1 else want to put up some odds like this?[/quote]

How about you give me your odds of him not winning it and I will bet on that.

Nope. Betting doesn't work like that.

Put up the odds if you're so dead set certain...and then learn to quote properly. :o

Betting can work however you want it to. You are so confident, give us your odds or are you just another supporter willing to shoot off his mouth and not back it up. And by the way.........please learn to quote properly.

OK then. I'll give you 5:1 multiplied by π (pi)*.

*No rounding of final figures allowed. If a final figure cannot be reached then all monies will be forfeited and the initial punter will pay a $1000 breach of contract fee.

Murphy is clearly a good player, but brownlows are won by players whose teams win more than 3-4 games a season.

As pi equals 3.142 or as you would know 22 divided by 7. n is an unknown variable so since your Mathematical skills are lacking I suggest you don't try and convince us that you know what you are talking about. You are embarrassing yourself.

So are you going to put some money up or what?

Marc Murphy is a talented young midfielder...too bad they are a dime a dozen these days, which makes statements like those in the 1st 2 posts more than a little outlandish. I'd be much more surprised if he won even one in his career than if didn't win any, and you guys pumping him up the way you are after half a season of league footy is pretty unfortunate :o

Yes I have.

As I have stated these are not odds. Blokes like you run around pretending they have knowledge in areas. Your lack of Mathematical skill is frightening. Offer odds or are you to frightened just like Murphy was when he got crunched last year.

I asked for odds first so put up or shut up.

You want odds the other way around then go start your own thread on it.

Just like Murphy, running away from the hard ball. Typical of you. Shoot your mouth off then don't back it up. You incompetence re Maths was exposed, what do you do, run the other way. No wonder Carlton are where they are.

Put some odds up or go away kid.

Murphy would be leaps and bounds ahead of Judd at the same age. I tend to think we're seeing something very special unfolding. He could be in brownlow contention as early as this year. What a champ! :thumbsu:
