Where will YOU be when Mattner returns to the wing?

Last week he was listed in the back pocket and normally on half back flank.

Hopefully this is real :eek::thumbsu:

Pretty sure I have seen him listed on the wing as well. As I said before the team never lines up the same way it is listed on the thursday. We have to wait for sanfl team releases to figure the outs as well as the training on the friday or sat morning where those under and injury cloud are given a chance.

Correct :thumbsu:

We never line up as named. Mattner was named on the wing a few times before but never played there. Last week Bock was named at CHF but played most of the game as a forward.

One thing we can definetly take out of this line up is that Gill WILL make his debut since he is listed in the starting 18. Barring injury between now and sunday of course!

I think he was also listed on the wing last week too - our team never lines up how they are named on a thursday

Clubs just submit a list of players which are on-field and interchange/emergencies, it is the AFL/Media that put them into their respective positions based on where they think the player should/will play.

Out team list typically has people in the wrong places.

When Mattner returns to the wing I can see myself married with two children - the eldest entering primary school.

So to work backwards that would be five years (from when the first kid is born to entering school). Nine months incubation. Then as an absolute best case scenario let's call it two years courtship since I don't even have a girlfriend. So I reckon Mattner will be back on the wing at EARLIEST in seven years and nine months. About Round 3 of 2015.

Find yourself a single mum with two kidlets and get yourself to Vegas baby. This is the weekend Marty will finally go back to where he belongs, and I dont mean Sturt.

Should he not line up there, I'm sorry for the pain and inconvenience caused.

If he lines up on the wing I reckon I'll just conceed that I was wrong instead.

Last week Mattner was listed on the bench.
Seeing he wasn't in the team prior, before that he was in the back lines.

I was thinking just trade him but now you mention it he could just go back to the wing.

Course he could go back to the wing just for a few weeks to improve his trade value.

Just trade him already!!

To answer the original question, I rekon I'll probably be on my couch watching a Swans game.

I just realised something! If by any chance, Mattner gets traded at the end of the season, and we don't make the finals, he would be on 99 games for the club. One game short off the father-son qualification!

If say we don't make the finals and he gets traded, how costly could it potentially be down the track that he was dropped (many thought unfairly) this year?!

98 Games. No junior Mattners for the AFC!:(

Saying 'I told ya so', when he is dominating for Sydney in Round 1.

And on the father-son, would be very frustrating if he does have kids they turn into good players. Can't make team decisions based on getting father-son qualification, but I do think it would have been nice for Mattner to have played 100 club games for the Crows regardless.
