Where's does McPharlin best play?

His best football was played at CHB. I don't know why he doesn't get a run there, but that his best position, not FF, not FB.

A guy like Hansen would just lead him to the footy all day.

he would be dynamite as a loose man coming in 3rd man up to contests. He is a good mark, however his disposal is a bit suspect and he is not the best running up the ground to overlap. Therefore he is best as a FB or FF with Johnson or Thornton as the spare man.

I reckon the massive flogging he was giving Reiwoldt a few weeks back (before being shifted onto Gehrig), would be evidence he does have the fitness for CHB. He should be the AA CHB every year at the moment. Croad? come on.

Gotta agree with this. McPharlin has clearly beaten Riewoldt in every clash they have had (although, I think Doddy has taken Riewoldt the last 2 or 3 times, other than the round 20 clash this year when he was out injured). Would love to see Luke up against Pav - may happen if the SOO gets up next year?

On topic, McPharlin is best at the end of the season and worst at the start. Something tells me his fitness base grows throughout the season which suggests he doesn't really have big preseasons.

I think his best position is at CHB. The clubs best place for him is at FB. But he enjoys FF the most.
