In all fairness that player could have politely said no. Laughing in someones face is a bit belittling. I can understand why the poster may have been a bit upset with that response. A simple "sorry mate but I can't" would have sufficedLol player x does not want be my friend, how dare he...Pathetic.
Asking a player for anything more than an autograph or a photo, is opening yourself up for disappointment IMO.In all fairness that player could have politely said no. True. And I am sure they get sick of being asked for these things and just want to be left alone from time to time. But from what I gather the poster was not upset about being told no, it was the manner in which it was done.
Didn't he say Gault was the one who laughed? I agree though if he did laugh it's not exactly what you'd call polite.. But I'd leave it there
Alas, the disappointments of the twitterverse, if I were smarter I'd write some cynical monologue depicting the end of an era and the demise of mankind.
It's blasphemy but I never warmed to Leon Davis. His performance in the 2002 Grand Final, albeit as a kid didn't do him any favours, and his shuthouse performance in the 2010 Grand a Final enraged me because I felt stark tn definitely deserved to be out there all things considered a hell of a lot more than him. Ironically I was at peace with Goldsack making the team ahead of Tarks the week after so so think it was more a reflection of the fact that I felt Davis was a wasted spot in what was to be potentially a premiership 22 rather than any huge overrating of Tarks.
Credit where credits due though, Leon did start to win me back during 2011, but it was too little too late and the whole fiasco re his signing at the end of the year quickly evaporated the tiny bit of repentance he had earned from me.
Glad to see the back of him.

And which poster do you dislike?Which world leader do you dislike?
Which corporate entity?
Which religious leader do you dislike? Which deity?
Which famous left handed leader of a rockband from the 70's did you dislike?
Which colour do you dislike?
Which vegetable do you dislike?
Which national holiday do you dislike?
Which world war did you dislike the most?
Am I doing this negativity thing right???![]()
What makes you say that? I've met him a few times and found him to be an exceptional bloke.I found out Dids was a bit of a dick but it didn't stop me loving him as a player.
I was adjacent to where he was kicking from. Far out that was a good game thoughI used to absolutely hate Guy Richards not because of his personality but because of how shit he was, I still think to this day that he is the biggest spud I have ever seen play in the AFL. I think it was the 2007 Preliminary Final where he had a kick for goal 40 metres out directly in front and he didn't even make the distance, I was so angry.
J.Blair - the way he claps his own work on field is ******* infuriating
What reasons?sorry for intruding.
I used to like Elliot. that opinion has definitely changed. don't like him.

How about the onus be on the person not to ask a stupid question?True. And I am sure they get sick of being asked for these things and just want to be left alone from time to time. But from what I gather the poster was not upset about being told no, it was the manner in which it was done.
