List Mgmt. Which free agent should we be targeting?

Another one we could target is Matthew Kreuzer if we cant wait anymore for Grundy and Witts to develop, I think that would be a waste though. How much would Will Hoskin-Elliot cost, would be a great addition to the forward line is coming out of contract and was a Collingwood supporter growing up. Need to get Cameron McCarthy, need some defenders What would Suckling and Rance cost plus also like Mullet from North. Then we also need mids Treloar, Dangerfield, Steven, S.Selwood, Shiel, Aish the targets for mine here.

Suckling has averaged over 20 possessions for the last 3 seasons. Young has never averaged 20 possessions in a season. Varcoe has never averaged 17 possessions in one season.

Also, Suckling isn't injury prone like both of them.

treloar is not a free agent so we would need to trade, but Would be a massive get for our midfield.

No sure, maybe you are right.

Average for 100% TPP expenditure is around $230-240k across the 44 players on our list. First and second year player salary heavily prescribed in the EBA, ditto rookies, but even so a player like Langdon could earn over $200k in 2015 if he plays most games.

Hawks get about $120k benefit for each of the veterans (and they've got a heap) which obviously helps. The veterans process is being phased out though so that will dry up in 2016 (I think from memory). And I guess when you're winning flags players are more inclined to take home less to be part of it. They've also done well with their rejects with players like Simpkin, Spangher, Cheney, and Hale likely to be on low base salaries while offering solid senior depth.

Suckling will be interesting this year. History says players don't return to their best form after a knee reconstruction until their second year after. I actually think Suckling would be a good pickup for our squad and would welcome him open arms.

I think you'll find a few interested in him should he execute his FA rights after a good season.
