Do you mean off-field?

Because no key forward had more goal assists than Hipwood in 2023, and Naughton was the only one to average more of them.
His team mates must mark off his shots.
If he gets within 90 he's having a shot, marks the ball and starts walking back without looking

I think Kosi will improve from what he's shown at the Hawks with a more prominent role and a change of environment.

But the one who I think/hope will go from frustrating talent to good half forward is Noah Cumberland. He didn't quite fit in the Dimma and co scheme but a change now hopefully sees him fulfill his potential.

I also have a good feeling on Sam Banks, a bit of a dasher will become a damaging metres gained player.

I really hope kosi does well with you guys. Seems a wonderful young man who needed a fresh start. Has the tools.

Jaxon Binns - Just turned 19. In his first year he wins our VFL B&F and is selected on the wing in the VFL AA.

Probably should have got a game this year but he wasn't picked as he isn't as physically mature as Acres and Cottrell, or has the running capacity of Hollands. I expect him to make a big impact this year with another preseason.

Trent rivers for us.
Fantastic season this year but I think he goes another level next year and hoping he plays some midfield minutes

Plenty on our list had down years who aren't over the hill.

Stengle had solid enough scoring metrics but his overall game and consistency was well down. Some might think 2022 was a flash in the pan but his ceiling is one of the premier small forwards in the comp.

De Koning was poor after being excellent in 2022. He has massive upside.

If J.Henry can stay on the park he could be one of our best few players and an elite interceptor.

Cameron fell of a cliff in the back half of the year, especially as injuries mounted. He still has near-MVP potential like the first 8 rounds of 2023 and most of 2022.

Plenty of posters on the Geelong board have given Holmes pelters this last season. Improvement is not always linear. He would still be the most likely to break out into a top level player for us IMO.

LDU puts it all together this year I think. Wardlaw could be the other one, he had an interrupted year and still was very impressive after his debut

For us, probably Tom Hawkins.

I posted on the Adelaide Board that we need a collective improvement from our young talent to take the next step to play finals... particularly from

Rachele
Thilthorpe
Pedlar
Soligo
Worrell
Fogarty

Every other supporter picks a young up and coming player. The Geelong guy picks Hawkins.

Am laughing.
The first four Geelong names given in this thread were Bruhn, De Koning, Stengle and Jack Henry. Holmes was mentioned. Then Cameron who despite being 30, had a difficult year in the end (went from near-MVP to not even AA squad).

For lesser knowns it's probably Dempsey and Knevitt. Maybe Mullin with a year in the system.

But it goes without saying we had a lot in the 20-30 range who were excellent in 2022 and poor in 2023 - so their level of year on year upside still greatest.

I was actually just being silly.

And yeah, sdk and Holmes would be my picks for Geelong.
