It's a flawed concept of ownership. The members own the clubs because they vote in a board? Boards of toothless tigers who walk lockstep to the diktat from city Hall. (To mangle half a dozen metaphors!)You need to watch it again.
It would be interesting to see a similar video on the AFL itself.
How it's structured, the power the clubs have and the like.
Clubs own it via the Commission.
Which I know at a very high level. But what does it actually mean?
What power do clubs have?
Who selects who and how things are governed?
Could change be initiated? If so how?
Because the clubs own the AFL via the commission but the AFL can dictate a hell of a lot ok individual clubs to their own detriment where it is advantageous for the AFL to do so.
