Just go away with your stupid negative takes. This thread is quite dead.
Not one "new" best 22 player. And nothing at box hill to suggest their is.
Ramsden was just showing a bit when dumped back into zanelittle johns weird set ups.
If this thread isn't much more positive next season then ...........................................................

Not one of Gunston, battle, Newcombe is a joke, how are there 4 sydney players better than all of them. How is gulden on this list??? He missed half the season!![]()
The 25, post-finals edition: AFL's best players, ranked by our experts
Welcome back to The 25, where AFL.com.au's team of experts rank the best players in the gamewww.afl.com.au
We are the only team in the top 10 who didnt have a single player in the top 25. Swans managed 3 or 4 players I think.
So, given this is a list by "AFL Experts" ... aka "AFL web staff making minimum wage"... who from our team should be in the best 25?
Presumably the one who made AA and was barely beaten would be on the list. Newk ignored by the umpires as well, but does he? Does a 33 year old who kicked 70+ goals make the list?
I guess if we put players in, who comes out?
Are these the same "AFL Experts" who unequivocally tipped us to miss the finals?![]()

Not strange at allThis might sound strange but in the games he has played Day looked like he was about to go to that next superstar level. Lets hope thats just on pause until 2026.
If Weddle can start to dominate like he appears he could we are in the conversation alongside the lions and Suns.We might need a who will improve in 2026 thread.
I think there will be several players looking at taking a jump in their development, or recapture last season's form, next season - Weddle, Watson, Ward, Mackenzie, MacDonald, Butler, Dear, Ginnivan, Lewis, D'Ambrosio.

One who is not on your list that really needs to show something is McCabe. Hopefully he wont go down as another player we've matched a bid on who has actually hindered us in the draft, there were good players available at the picks we used to match for him.We might need a who will improve in 2026 thread.

Fair point, I thought Morrison was terrific this season and would often set the tone with his physicality which is remarkable for a guy of his size. How can a bloke who polled 38 votes in 2024 and then 72 votes in 2025 be simply a “maintained”?
Morrison polled nearly twice as many votes because he didn’t play VFL footy this year - didn’t he?
