Brennan was never going anywhere but the Gold Coast. You are kidding yourself if you thought otherwise. We did not have the draft picks to be able to negotiate with the Lions & were not going to give up a quality player for someone who has underperformed in every season of his career so far (was not even Top 10 in the Lions' B&F this season).

As for Tambling, I can only assume you are taking the piss. Richmond would be pinching themselves after getting what they did for him from Adelaide. He would add nothing to our team (or to any other team for that matter).

Brennan is a inconsistant tall midfielder who couldn't play KPD if his life depended on it, and comes with a HUGE salary on his head. I never wanted him at the club, and I am glad he has ended up at the Suns ........


As for Tambling, I would prefer Walker or ROK (if he can get his body right) playing as a rebounding defender than him ...............


I would love to concentrate on making trades for picks this year, and stocking up on some KPP in the draft (it is supposedly a strong list of talls this year) apposed to go for quick fixes who wont be around when we are pushing for a flag, or wont be good enough to make a real impact in the team anyway ............


Dream trade period would be (IMO)

1). Jacobs + #36 for #14
2). Walker for #16 (Port). (May need some more steak knives in there)

Then use #14, #16 and #18 on x2 KPP and an inside midfielder.

1. Brennan would have been useful but what would you have given up to get him.
2. Fumbling is useless. The Crows are mad.
3. What evidence do you have that we have an interest in Houli?
4. When do you claim we have been ripped off by a trade with the Bummers - nothing recent comes to mind?
5. The error in your premature (immature?) suggestion that we will get nothing for Griggs, Jacobs and Walker has already been pointed out.
6. Who are the "half-arsed" players you claim want to leave that we will now need to keep?

May I suggest a little bit (or a lot, lets be frank) of self-editing before you next start a thread would be a good start.

Nice thoughts but both those trades are massively lopsided in our favour IMO.
Maybe the Port deal could work if they were super keen on Walks seeing how he is still contracted for 2011, so we hold all the cards. Maybe a Walker + Grigg package for #16
