I think they are equal second favourite with whoever loses the first Geelong Saints final, I believe both these teams can play a level above the pies and odds are we should see at least one of them hit top gear.

are you aware that the saints could beat you week1 and then the hawks pretty much have your measure in big games, and waiting at the end of all that is the pies and we all know how that went last time... and odds are pretty good that the cats top gear as you call it might just be a couple gears behind the pies history tells the romans the turks the germans the vikings, the barbarians, the lions and next the cats all great kingdoms eventually fall, the cats will be no different.

Yes I am aware, you obviously didnt read a thing I wrote after you saw what team I barrack for. Ill try again while making it simpler for you.

If cats lose against saints I would tip Saints to win the grandfinal, whoever loses that match even if it is Geelong I dont believe could then go on to beat Hawks, Pies then Saints/Cats to win.

I also disagree and think the odds are pretty low that the top gear of the Saints/Cats is a couple of gears behind Pies.

I see a similar grand final result to 2009 - just replace St.Kilda with Collingwood. Geelong's experience in 3 consecutive GFs will be the key difference.

I don't like these one sided polls even if I'm a Collingwood supporter. Their is three teams vying to play in the GF; Collingwood, Geelong and St Kilda. The most probable case is that it'll be the winner of both the Collingwood vs Western Bulldogs and Geelong vs St Kilda playing off in the GF, especially since the Geelong vs St Kilda game loser has to face off against the Hawks which have matched the top four teams on many occasions and then the winner has to play a rested Collingwood/WB.

For me it'll be a Collingwood vs Geelong/St Kilda GF depending on this weeks results. Obviously I'm going to say Collingwood will win but if we face off against Geelong, it'll be a hard fought battle since they are the team to beat in finals, as they've shown over the last three years.

Unfortunately they are absolutely primed to win it. No injuries, lots of players having career best years, good players relegated to the 2s so they can cover drops in form or injuries.

Collingwood's prelim final is going to be alot tougher now where they'll likely to face Geelong. But they're a better chance win this year than last year especially under the MCG lights.

A Collingwood vs St Kilda Grand Final will be two sides who have each won just 1 premiership each in the last 50 years. The Pies did win 13 up to 1958 but only 1 premiership since, 20 years ago.

A rematch of last year is also very possible.
