Rounds 14 and 16 will be the telling rounds. If west coast can't beat Carlton at Etihad or Geelong at Subiaco they won't be playing in the GF.

I have a sneaking suspicion we won't be playing in the GF. How disappointing. :(

I think we are more of a shot at beating Geelong at subi with selwood out. the WA teams are a chance against any side when at subi.
Still doubt we will make the GF regardless. I'd be happy with top 8 atm.

5th to 8th.

Could still realistically finish 8th or even miss out. We've had a great injury run and and have a run home that is more challenging than our opening 11 games. We're not the 4th best team in the league, Hawthorn are still better than us and will stay there. Fremantle I have a feeling will get their shit together soon and knock us off in the next derby.

Voted definitely not. I'd be ecstatic if we maintained our 6th spot on the ladder.

My best guess at this stage is that west coast finish 6th and beat Sydney at Subiaco. They would then meet Carlton, probably at the MCG. If they win that its Collingwood, definitely at the MCG.

Of course, they're just as likely to lose to Port on Sunday. ;)

IF we have a home final unless its against one of the current top four i would be confident we could/would win it. However i doubt very much we would get past the second week of finals after leaving subi.

FFS what's this crap? Geelong and Collingwood are clearly a step above us and other teams like Carlton and Hawthorn I would have ahead of us as well.

Won't happen this year

Bump. Almost guaranteed a top 4 position and IMO will be a Collingwood WC grand final.

Lol. I guess it could happen. But it won't. Will fade out a bit I expect. This year is very similar to 2003. After 15 rounds the Eagles were 2nd on the ladder and had beaten both grand finalists of the previous year. Some patchy form sets in and its a freefall to 7th and eliminated first week of the finals.

Long way to go this year.
