Stole this idea from Demonology.

My team to play North in Canberra would be:

B. Wheatley Lamb Bizzell
HB. Green Holland Heffernan
C. Yze McLean Whelan
HF. Bruce Miller Robertson
F. Davey Neitz White
R. Jolly Fisher Johnstone

Int. Rivers, McDonald, Smith, Armstrong, Thompson, Johnson

* Wheatley to play. Hopefully this will help him regain some confidence, and (finally) deliver on his potential.

* The forgotten man to play at full back.

* Green on a HBF. He is going nowhere as a forward, so it's worth a punt. His brilliant disposal could be very handy for kicking out, counter attacks etc.

* Big Brock to play a full game in the centre. He has had an impressive Pre Season, and deserves to play. Same goes for Fisher.

* Whelan to be given another go in the midfield.

* Miller to rotate with Smith at CHF.

* Davey to crumb Neita and show the Kangas what they missed out on!

And finally...

* CJ to play!

Sorry to intrude.. but..

We don't need to be shown what we missed- we have already seen:) He did spend the year with our VFL affiliate afterall:)

what do you think of him as a player? Do you think the roos should have picked him up?

Here is my effort... It's so hard to pick!

B: Read Broadbridge Bizzell
HB: Wheatley Holland Heffernan
C. Whelan Johnstone Green
HF. Bruce Miller Robertson
F. Campbell Neitz White
R. Jolly Yze McLean

int: Armstrong, Thompson, Smith, Godfrey, Davey, Rivers

Any questions/suggestions please let me know!

Yep Tashi's (& a few others) on record as saying they were a bit disappointed in missing out on Aaron.

We have an exciting prospect on our hands no doubt. However I'd rather wait & see if Davey can have an impact at senior level, before we start shoving it up the Roos fans.

I have a team kicking about in the back of my mind, I'll post it soon.

Let's face it, he's the Supergoal specialist. If he can't get a game under these conditions then he never will!

I reckon Wrecka is too short for a wing, he's not brilliant overhead either but I can see him getting a run up the ground in Pre-season.

Not much wrong with that forward line except, I reckon Bruce will "Tag" Simpson again.

Let Jol & Russian handle the ruckwork & rest Whitey up forward. Rest Vardy all together, he'd be wasted on this comp!

I like the Frosty/Buckets rotation Idea too.

Here it is!

B: Ward, Lamb, Broadbridge
HB: Bizzell, Smith, Yze
C: Bruce, Godfrey, Johnstone
HF: Davey, Miller, Robertson
F: Walsh, Neitz, Holland
FOL: Jolly, Johnstone, McDonald
I/C: Jamar, Newman, Thompson, Armstrong, McLean, Heffernan, Green, Whelan. With Thommo & Green dropping out if it's a 6 man bench.

Unavailable: Molan, Bell, Sylvia

Saved for the real thing : White, Vardy, Rigoni, Nicholson.

BT, If neal intends to play White up forward this year wouldnt it be advisable to give him some experiance up there? I guess it would still be seen as an experiment untill proven that it's going to work

Whelan - Lamb - Bizzell

Walsh - Holland - Bruce

Heffernan - Johnstone - Armstrong

Green - Miller - Robertson

Vardy - Neitz - White

Jolly - Yze - Thompson

Jamar - McLean - McDonald - Read

He's had plenty of experience up forward over the years. He's a good (but not great) leading forward & a reliable kick for goal. I'd rest him completely from the Wiz cup, we need him back in the form he showed early last season before his shin flared up again.

If ND insists on using him in the Wiz cup then he must be used as a forward, the last thing we need is him carrying his shin injury into round 1.

So no, I don't see much point in playing White up forward, he's played at Full Forward in the past with mixed results. I can't see him learning anything new at this stage in his career.

Pretty good, I like the fact that Walsh is in. I'd rather not see Bizzell that far back, he'd be out of the play too much for my liking in a back pocket.

I reckon your tream is a bit too conservative, while mine & others lean more (too far?) to the experimental side. Somewhere in between is probably what we'll get.

Everyone has gone off Nathan Carroll it seems.

He's a talent, but has areas where he lacks.

I like him as a player.. and yes I think the Roos should have picked him up.. but I am highly bias- and I like all indigenous players.. their talents and magic never cease to get my attention.. the Roos didn't fail me - they picked up Ed Sansbury, and I am happy with him.. So,

Good luck to Davey at Melbourne.. he has some work to do.. his body in particular.

I'll leave you dees to it now. Sorry for the intrusion:)
