Yep, 0-0 the final result.Looks like JP & SA will end as a scoreless draw...
It's a very strong position going into the final two games.Beat Japan and we make it through. Lose or draw and we need to at least draw against Saudis to make it through.
We'd make it with just a draw over Saudi Arabia, unless they can overturn 9 goal difference.FT Japan 0-0 Saudi Arabia.
Doesn't change much assuming we win, we still need 2 points from the June games
BlackSettle an argument for me:
What colour are the numbers on the Aussie kit?
Black or dark green?
Heaps of tickets still available at Optus vs JapanBeat Japan and we make it through. Lose or draw and we need to at least draw against Saudis to make it through.
Disappointing...Heaps of tickets still available at Optus vs Japan
I just looked, they've sold at least twice NIB's capacity already.Disappointing...
Maybe playing at NIB Stadium would've been better.
I bought mine of the first day of presale lol.
So like 40k?I just looked, they've sold at least twice NIB's capacity already.
They got 46k to Adelaide oval last year vs China, and with certain qualification if we win there'll be a few more yetSo like 40k?
That is pretty damn impressive if true!
Job done a solid professional win, Japan awaits in June.
Gone are the days that Homebush will have those atmospheres.Hugely impressive week across two games. No way we are getting 6 points under Arnie, and certainly not playing like that.
No Bos, Soutter, Matthews or Circati either. Miller has shown more than most in the right sided defender role, Teague and Nishan are definitely at the level of squad players at least.
Be nice to get a proper striker and some of the first choice defenders back by the World Cup if we can get there.
Japan game massive, it should have been at Homebush, not Perth. It needs to be an atmosphere similar to those big nights in Sydney. Iām not expecting Uruguay but close.
